The Color of Water No. 1
Gentle strokes of deep and misty blues drift across the page like the memory of waves—felt more than seen. This abstract study distills the palette of my seascapes into pure movement, capturing the quiet rhythm of water as it shifts, lifts, and settles again.
Each mark is intentional yet untamed, echoing the way light glances across the ocean’s surface for only a moment before changing. There is a softness in the edges, a breath between each gesture, inviting the viewer to slow down and simply be—the way we do when standing at the shoreline.
This piece is less about depicting water and more about recalling how it feels: calm, expansive, grounding- a reminder of the peaceful spaces we return to again and again.
