I create as many original paintings as possible, and I usually release them in collections, with approximately 3 to 6 collections each year. When original paintings become available, they will be listed here.  I will send out an email whenever there is new work available, and my Collector’s List will have first access. I paint with water-mixable oil paints, although sometimes I dabble with soft and oil pastels, as well as charcoal and pencil drawings. I paint on professional quality canvases, wood panels, and fine art paper.

A giclée print is a reproduction of an original painting, made by professionally scanning or photographing the original piece. Great care is taken to ensure the print is exactly like the original, down to the tiniest detail, color, and texture. It is then printed using a large-scale printer with archival ink on fine art paper or canvas. Once framed, you won’t be able to tell it isn’t an original painting! And because of the archival ink and acid-free paper, if properly taken care of, your print will last for generations. 

Original artwork is packaged with great care with plenty of bubble wrap and filler in sturdy, double-walled cardboard boxes. Artwork will ship via USPS or UPS, and most packages arrive within 2-4 days (domestic) from time of shipping (includes tracking & insurance). International shipments will be sent via USPS or other carrier. International buyers, please note that shipping charges may vary from the amount you pay at checkout. Every print is created at an art reproduction studio after it is purchased. For this reason, prints usually take between 5-10 business days to arrive at your door once your place your order. Thank you so much for your patience- it will be well worth your time!

Absolutely! If you are local to southeastern VA/Northeastern NC, you are welcome to pick up your artwork in person at my studio in Chesapeake, Virginia. Use the code LOCALPICKUP at checkout to forgo shipping fees, and we will work out a time to meet via email. You can contact me to set up a time at coleman.senecal.art@gmail.com.

Prints can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receiving your art. They must be returned in perfect condition and customer pays return shipping. Exchanges and returns will have a 20% restocking fee deducted from the total to help cover fees.

While I take the utmost care to package your artwork properly and carefully, sometimes accidents happen. If your artwork was damaged during shipping, please reach out and send a pic of the damaged piece in its original packaging with your message. This will be handled on a case by case basis.  I am not liable for mishandling or failed delivery by the USPS or UPS (this is why I always insure original paintings!). I package each order with care and protection so that your order will arrive safely. Please be kind- I have no control over the delivery services and am just as sad as you are that the artwork was damaged. 

If your package is marked “Delivered” and yet is nowhere to be found, please first check your confirmation email to ensure that you input the correct shipping address. I am unable to replace any print order for free if the shipping address is incorrect. This does happen occasionally, and it is not uncommon to have the package returned to me. If that is the case, I am more than happy to forward it to your correct address, though I ask that you pay for the postage.

All original paintings are final sale only. 

I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original paintings. I retain the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork I create unless the Collector has purchased the full or partial rights to the artwork (this is in addition to purchasing the original). The Collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission. If the artwork ends up being reproduced in a magazine or other media I only ask for credit (Congratulations! That means your home is gorgeous!). Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing full or partial rights to your painting. Some collectors choose to purchase my right to reproduce the artwork to ensure it will never become a print. I am happy to discuss that with you if it’s something that’s important to you!
