Thanksgiving Walk

 
I was inspired to paint this piece after an early morning walk with my husband on Thanksgiving day- leaving from our cottage to walk through the woods and out to the open fields nearby before all the festivities began. These sweeping clouds stopped me in my tracks. I deliberately painted this scene a bit looser, as I wanted it to have that slightly fuzzy, warm feeling of sweet memories of good holidays spent with family. This painting will bring warmth and light wherever it resides!
