"Fancy a Walk?"

I've been missing the English countryside horribly this spring, and since I can't travel back there at the moment, I did the next best thing- paint a view that I got to enjoy in all weathers and all seasons. The River Nene in Northamptonshire was a place of countless walks- sometimes walking with my husband with my boys running up ahead, and sometimes alone with the music of my thoughts mixing with birdsong to bring a sense of utter peace. The quiet beauty of the English countryside has my heart, forever.
