"Porthole"

You stare out the tiny circle of glass, and the deep blues and indigos dance together in front of your eyes. The water is choppy, but just enough to make the crests of the ripples glimmer white with the light shining on them. You get lost in the endless movement, and somehow feel at peace. 
 
Oil on framed baltic birch panel, 6 inches round (with a total width of approximately 7 inches), framed and ready to hang. This painting was made with care and love in my home studio in coastal Virginia. I hope it brings joy and light to your home!
